THE OPAL SHAFT specializes in Handcrafted Opal Jewellery & Creations with Opals from our Family Mine in Lightning Ridge & other Australian Fields.

Our Family Mine is Located in Lightning Ridge along the Green Car Door Tourist Track (Dirt Road) on top of Nebia Hill. Just set back out of view from the road stands the original Western Lands Lease Opal Mining “Camp” bought by my Mum & Dad back in the 1980s and still in the family today.
